Believers On Our Level Of Faith!

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;" (1 Peter 2:9)

Peter, who was given the Keys to The Kingdom by Jesus, says to believers that we are chosen, royal, holy, and peculiar. Not in pursuit of each one individually. Nor set to receive these characteristics later as with our glorified bodies: but now! This being the first entry for my blog, I thought about a loneliness and isolation I commonly feel as I walk out my Faith. Living in this world is no picnic for Christians. We are rejected by the world, which we should be (John 15:19), but we can also experience feelings of abandonment within the places we fellowship with believers, e.g., church, family units, friendship circles, etc. Even with the invention of social media, I still find myself disinterested in a lot that I see because it does not feed my Faith. Certainly, I am not implying a Faith that is superior, just different! And I am spiritually emaciated, having been searching for years looking for the Saints that believe as I believe, hope as I hope, and love HIM as I love HIM.

I am looking to forge fellowships with those believers that are not ashamed of being chosen, royal, holy, and peculiar: those that know the importance of nurturing those qualities and being accountable for them because the flesh still aligns itself with the enemy of our souls. If we are to be placed on display [shew], we must "be ye also ready." We need friendship and fellowship at our level of Faith. So, I'll do my part to keep you energized, knowledgeable, and encouraged here. I only ask this in return, would you please pray for me that The Father would keep me in His Perfect Will? I believe fellowship and prayer will help us "be" what the Father has designed and equipped us to be (chosen, royal, holy, and peculiar) in, too, and for His Church as well as this wicked, perverse generation. So, I'm going to nurture in you what I want to be nurtured in me! To build this community of like passion, I encourage you to invite others to join us here who are looking for reasons to stay with the Faith and not compromise or abandon the Faith...because Jesus needs us!

Living in this "temporary" place can leave believers feeling lonely and at times rejected. It can be a struggle as one of the basic human needs is for companionship. I understand how you feel. I've prayed for years for God to send me friends with a commonality. While uncomfortable, those lonely times have proven to be seasons of growth; necessary darkness to catalyst my development.

Some seeds don't germinate well in light as in darkness and it is in those dark times that it is covered in soil that growth takes place. This world has left me feeling dark and weighted…looking back I see that it was used for God's glory! As I grew God began to connect me with…
